Summer School LL.B (April – June 2026)
The EDELNet Partnership is delighted to announce we are inviting applications to the annual EDELNet Summer School.
The online phase of the program starts in Spring 2026 and the face-to-face part takes place this year in Den Haag (The Hague, the Netherlands) from 15th to 19th June 2026. As in previous years, 30-40 students from the FernUniversität Hagen (Germany), the Open Universiteit (Netherlands), UNED (Spain), Open University (UK) and University of Wroclaw (Poland) will meet at a wonderful location in the EU and have the opportunity to work together in a series of activating seminars and workshops, designed to offer a high quality learning experience and gain insight into democratic and rule of law operations and other vital aspects of legal systems in liberal democracies. Moreover, participants will get a valuable chance to have a meaningful exchange with students and instructors from other European jurisdictions in an institutionally supportive and intellectually challenging environment.
Summer School LLB
The programme begins with an online preparatory phase in April during which participants are expected to take a few short online courses. In the face-to-face part of the programme you will work on a thought-provoking assignment on constitutional law and politics in comparative perspective, together with an international group of students from the participating universities. Different viewpoints on political systems and constitutions from various countries will be discussed. In the course of the programme, you will receive well-structured and intensive training not only in legal matters, but also in soft skills such as academic debate, legal English, and team work.
Successful applicants are expected to have a good command of English. Participants are expected to make their own accommodation and travel arrangements. Successful participation in the Summerschool LLB will be awarded with 5 EC.
Please send your application, together with a motivation letter, before 2nd of March, 2026 to studieadvies.rechten@ou.nl.
Should you have any questions about the programme, please contact prof. dr. C.M. Zoethout, carla.zoethout@ou.nl.
