In 2014, the University of Patras celebrated 50 years of academic operation, marked by continuous development and constantly emerging new achievements. The University presently stands well ahead of its original goal, which was to set 'a firm model of an academic institution providing Greece with a highly-qualified alumni contributing to the society’s development and growth'. Today, the University of Patras enjoys recognition as an academic Institution with a worldwide impact, attracting thousands of students and many academic and research personnel actively involved in cutting-edge science, innovation and excellence. Our international policy is achieved through the cooperation with universities and research institutions worldwide. Cooperation includes activities related to research, teaching, intensive programmes and the development of common curricula, establishment of bilateral agreements, as well as the participation in international organizations, networks and associations.

The University of Patras consist of academics who have significant experience in the field of inter-cultural education and discriminatory bullying and have been a partner in several projects at local, national and European level dealing with intercultural integration, bullying and teacher training. Because of this project-specific experience this partner will lead the quality assurance activities. This partner will also lead the development of the scenarios of the serious game but will also contribute to the development of the pedagogic guides, teacher training and the evaluation of the educational game.
