Dr. Francine Dehue
 

Dr. Francine Dehue is working at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the Open Universiteit. Her main research focuses on determinants and coping strategies in relation to cyberbullying and the effectiveness and dissemination of (eHealth) interventions to prevent and combat (cyber)bullying. She was guest editors of a special issue for the Journal of Community and Applied Social Psychology concerning Antisocial behavior in online communities (2013) and one of the editors of the book titled: 'Cyberbullying: from theory to intervention' (2016). From 2008 to 2012 she was a member of the management committee of a European network for researchers, the COST action IS0801 titled 'Cyberbullying: coping with negative and enhancing positive uses of new technologies, in relationships in educational settings'. Since March 2019 she is a member of the management committee of the Cost action CA18115 titled 'Transnational collaboration on bullying, migration and integration at school level'. Her tasks in the Gate Bull project concern a contribution to the development of the serious game and the teacher materials, and to the development and conduction of the study to investigate the effectiveness of the game and these materials.
