Micromodules and webinars

The Open Universiteit invested from the beginning of the internet in online education. When covid forced the educational sector to 'lock down' the Open Universiteit developed in record time a website on digital didacts (in Dutch). On this website you find tips and tricks, micromodules and online webinars about developing and supporting online education. Virtual clasess, use of multimedia, online collaboration, designing online education, digital assessment... All these topics are treated. 

Masterclasses

Every masterclass has a similar setup: as a preparation for the live sessions with an expert you study sources material about the subject of the masterclass. During and after the session you discuss with the expert and fellow students about the subject. 

Terms of registration can vary but most masterclasses are open access. The recordings of the live sessions are made available as Open Educational Resources.
