Learning and Innovation in Resilient Systems
From 2015-2020 the research in the field of Management, Environmental Sciences and Computer Sciences took place within the joint multidisciplinary programme Learning and Innovation in Resilient Systems. The central theme was resilient systems
Since 2020 the research on this theme has been continued in two programmes:
- Learning and Innovation for Resilience and Sustainability (LIRS)
- Learning and innovation for resilient social-ecological systems (LIRSS)
These programmes capitalize on and and further develop the collaborative practices and research achievements of the first LIRS-programma (2015-2020).

Main purpose of the research is fostering our understanding of the innovative and learning possibilities of resilient systems by focussing on
- information and computer systems
- organisation and management systems
- environmental systems.
