Learn STEM Online Conference: more than 700 participants worldwide!
The online Conference 'Learn STEM: Innovative pedagogy for STEM education' was incredible successful. More than 700 teachers and headmasters from all five continents registered to join online on Wednesday, 29th of April 2020. 22 international experts from Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) presented latest developments in STEM education from scientific research to practical experiences. Coordinator of the European initiative Learn STEM, Dr. Christian M. Stracke: 'We are happy about the amazing interest in innovative STEM learning, in our pedagogical model and free tools.'

The Learn STEM Online Conference is published online now

The whole Learn STEM Online Conference 2020 was recorded and a video of the full programme is available online.  It includes speakers from the Open Universiteit(Learn STEM), the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), the European Schoolnet (Scientix), the University of Twente (Go-Labz) and the European Commission (National Agency Erasmus+ NL) as well as teachers from all European regions.

Everybody who could not participate or wants to revisit the online conference, can enjoy the full programme and download all presentations All Learn STEM results and achievements are openly and freely available on the Learn STEM website online.

About Learn STEM

Main goal of Learn STEM is to facilitate and support better STEM learning in secondary schools. Under the leadership of the coordinator Dr. Christian M. Stracke from the Open Universiteit, Learn STEM brings together nine Partners from six European countries. They are collaborating for innovative STEM education and have developed the Learn STEM Pedagogical Model, the Inquiry learning package and a teacher training programme. In addition, Learn STEM aims at increasing the pupils' interest in STEM and building STEM competences. Therefore, Learn STEM designs and provides practical instruments and online tools for secondary schools to explore and solve real life questions.
